The Racquet Sports Professional Association (RSPA), previously rebranded from the United States Professional Tennis Association in 2024, is pleased to announce a brand-new campaign called the “Hire Standard.”
This campaign marks a pivotal moment in our nearly 100-year legacy of advancing racquet sports. More than just a slogan, “The Hire Standard” represents our renewed commitment to excellence, leadership, and opportunity across the racquet sports industry.

Since 1927, RSPA has been at the forefront of racquet sports education and professional development. With “The Hire Standard,” we’re not just looking back—we’re moving forward. This campaign celebrates the coaches, clubs, and communities that define what it means to be exceptional in racquet sports.

What’s New with the RSPA?
To support “The Hire Standard,” we’re rolling out several exciting initiatives designed to enhance the member experience and expand professional opportunities:
- Website Redesign: Our new site is built for speed and simplicity, giving members quick access to certifications, education, career tools, and benefits.
- RSPA Career Center: A dedicated hub connecting certified professionals with career opportunities and visibility to grow their coaching journeys.
- Partnership with DUPR Coach: This groundbreaking collaboration introduces the first certification program that combines advanced education with income opportunities. Currently available to RSPA-certified pickleball professionals, this program will soon expand to other racquet sports.
